Prof. Dr. Zoran Miljković held his inaugural lecture for the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia (AINS) on the topic of Cognitive Robotics. The lecture offered a concise overview of the Laboratory’s decades-long work under his leadership in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence—areas that today stand at the very center of global research priorities.

The event was attended by selected members of AINS, the management and professors of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as well as colleagues from the Department of Production Engineering. Following the presentation, a lively and highly substantive discussion took place. Members of AINS remarked that they could hardly recall a recent occasion where the post-lecture debate had been so engaging, well-argued, and high in quality, highlighting both the relevance of the topic and the depth of the presented work.
