As part of the MCSecurity project, an Open Day was held on 26 August 2026 at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The event brought together members of the ETF Robotics research group, as well as students and colleagues from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The Open Day provided an opportunity for the MCSecurity project team to present the project in greater detail, including its main objectives, research activities carried out so far, and the equipment acquired within the project. Particular attention was devoted to demonstrating the research capabilities enabled by the new equipment and its potential application in the development and experimental validation of advanced robotic and cyber-secure control solutions.

The event also provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience with colleagues from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, particularly regarding the use of mobile robotic platforms for research and experimental purposes. Discussions focused on practical experience with robotic systems, their capabilities, and the challenges associated with their application in contemporary robotics research.

In addition to the project presentation and discussions, all visitors had the opportunity to tour the laboratories of the Department of Production Engineering and become more familiar with the research infrastructure, robotic systems, and ongoing scientific activities conducted within the Department.

The Open Day contributed to strengthening cooperation between researchers from different faculties of the University of Belgrade and provided an excellent environment for exchanging ideas, experiences, and potential directions for future collaboration in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, and cyber-secure robotic systems.
